Fully online initiative for young people across the country that transformed traditional science education into an immersive virtual competition combining mathematics and creativity.
Math Adventure was a fully online, open-enrollment initiative aimed at young people across the country. The program consisted of weekly challenges that combined mathematics and creativity, complemented by occasional sessions, or symposiums, with invited scientists and mathematicians.
Variable (8 challenges + final)
Immersive virtual competition with playful learning. Mathematics concepts were presented in fictional worlds such as Harry Potter and Alice in Wonderland.
Nationwide, with participants divided into five geographic regions.
To participate in the program, you must meet the following requirements:
Be a high school student.
Be interested in mathematics and creativity.
Complete weekly challenges in different formats such as videos, comics, and written submissions.
This program took place in 2021 and is not currently open for enrollment.
