Science Outside the Box was a high-impact virtual educational program and science competition supported by the Embassy of the United States in Argentina. Its goal was to develop scientific thinking, creativity, and lateral thinking in young people across Argentina through challenges from different branches of science.

Nationwide, with participants from across the country divided into regions.
To participate in the program, you must meet the following requirements:
Be a high school student.
Be interested in science.
Complete weekly virtual challenges.
This program took place in 2020 and is not currently open for enrollment.

Hands-on virtual challenges with an average 90% effectiveness in teaching key knowledge.
Sessions with leading scientists from Argentina such as Laura Frulla, Carlos Sosa, and Jeronimo Batista.
Development of lateral thinking through creative forums averaging 73.4 posts per week.
The 5 winners traveled to La Cumbrecita, Cordoba, for an in-person closing experience.
